Welcome to the 2024-25 school year! We are thrilled to embark on this journey of learning and growth together. The excitement of the first day is always special, as we gather with a shared purpose: to nurture the joy of learning in every student and strengthen our community connections.

Our district is rich in diverse languages, identities, cultures, and experiences. This diversity not only strengthens us but also provides endless opportunities to learn from one another, fostering a sense of unity that is essential for a thriving educational environment. We are guided by our strategic plan, H.E.R.E. Learning Happens, which centers on four key pillars:

  • High Expectations & Excellence for All: We believe in challenging our students and staff to reach their fullest potential, aiming to graduate responsible, civically engaged students ready to make a positive impact on the world.
  • Engaged Learners: We are committed to delivering meaningful content and high-quality instruction that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Our focus is on learning experiences that inspire students to achieve their highest potential.
  • Relationships: Strong relationships between students, staff, families, and the community are the foundation of our success. By working together and holding ourselves accountable, we create a nurturing environment that supports the holistic development of every student.
  • Equity & Empathy: We honor the rich diversity of our community by fostering cultural connectedness and ensuring that our schools are safe, inclusive, and welcoming for all. Our commitment to racial equity and empathy drives our efforts to meet the unique needs of every student.

As we kick off this school year, we’re excited to share our 2024-25 Back to School Guide. This guide is packed with important information, resources, and key dates to help students, families, and staff start the year off strong. From enrollment details to upcoming events, the guide is your go-to resource for ensuring a smooth and successful start.

Despite the challenges we’ve faced, including budget reductions, our unwavering priority remains the well-being and success of our students, staff, and families. By staying connected and working together, we will overcome obstacles and continue to provide an exceptional educational experience for all.

We can’t wait to welcome every student back to school and see the joy, learning, and growth that will unfold this year. Your presence and participation make our community truly special, and we’re eager to see the connections and achievements that lie ahead.

Let’s make this a year filled with learning, connection, and progress.

With gratitude and anticipation,
