How can I get a device?

Device distribution has stopped as of Memorial Day.  With less than a month of school remaining, we are no longer issuing devices.

I tried to sign up. Why can't I select pre-school?

Devices are being distributed to K-12 students only.

I filled out the form. Why haven't I been called?

If you signed up for a device for a K-5 student, then your school office will call you to arrange pickup.  Please allow a few days after signing up.

If you signed up for a device for a middle or high school student, then the devices may be picked up after 2 business days. While we are attempting to call students to notify them, there simply aren't enough of us.

I signed up for a device. How do I get it?

Elementary School parents will be contacted by the front office staff.  They will advise when to pick up devices at the school's office.

High School and Middle School students can pick up devices at the Service Center (aka the old library across from Foster) weekdays between 1pm and 4pm. Ring the doorbell. All students/parents need to remain at least 6 feet from staff and any other students/parents who might be waiting. It takes at least 1 business day after signing up for your device to become available.

I picked up a Chromebook. How do I log my child in?

All students are assigned a 7-digit S-number starting with 010, 011, or 012. The username is their S-number as an email (e.g. and the password is their date of birth. If their date of birth is September 5, 2012, then the password would be Sep52012.

I picked up a device, but it doesn't work. What do I do?

Call the Help Desk at 206-901-8080. Support staff will assist you.

How/When do I return my devices?

For most students, we will collect devices in the Fall after the start of school.  The plans for this are still being determined, and probably won't be finalised before August.  Hot spots may be remotely disabled during the summer months.

For HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS, devices will be collected soon.  Students will be contacted directly about their devices.  Students should continue checking their s-number email accounts.
