While school is a place for learning, some of the most valuable lessons happen in the workplace. Worksite Learning helps high school students preparing for graduation build real-world skills, understand workplace expectations, and explore career pathways.

Students who already have a job can earn high school credit through the program. Participants must have an approved position and meet regularly with a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher to reflect on their experiences, discuss workplace skills, and receive guidance for professional growth.

Worksite Learning is coordinated by Garen Freed. For more information, please contact freedg@tukwila.wednet.edu.

Local businesses play an important role by providing meaningful job opportunities for students, helping prepare the next generation of workers and leaders.
