Maintenance, Operations & Capital Projects
The Maintenance, Operations & Capital Projects Department supports the Tukwila School District’s educational mission by providing safe, clean, functional, comfortable, and reliable learning environments for students, staff, families, and the community.
Our department oversees custodial services, facility maintenance, energy management, safety programs, facility use, and capital improvement projects. Although much of our work takes place behind the scenes, it directly supports teaching, learning, and the daily operation of every school and district facility.
Department Goal
Our goal is to deliver responsive, efficient, and dependable facility services while continuing to move from a primarily reactive maintenance model toward a proactive, planned, and data-informed approach.
