Dear Cascade View Elementary School Community,

I look forward to continuing the tradition of cultivating a school where all children learn in a safe environment with high expectations and mutual respect, where everyone experiences the joy of teaching and learning. I believe that we must look upon ourselves as partners working together to build strong relationships as we work toward common goals.

I am aware of the anticipation and eagerness that accompanies new leadership. I am up for the challenge because my passion is K-12 education and my experience as a Dean of Students and Assistant Principal have prepared me to meet the needs of our youngest learners. You need to see how each student is being prepared for them to make the successful transitions from elementary to middle school, middle school to high school, and high school to college or workforce.

I plan to spend the first few months getting to know each of you, so that I may better understand what drives the success of the Cascade View families, staff, and students, then leverage this as we collaborate to lead the school into the next phase of our journey. I anticipate learning about the collective vision and hopes for our school. What is important to you about Cascade View Elementary? How do you envision me supporting you? What do we need to work on? How do we best serve our children? I am prepared to be a listener, not only to the students but to staff in order to fully understand what their needs are. As a parent and educator I fully understand the hard work and dedication that it takes to prepare students for their futures.
