Hello Foster High School Family,

First, welcome, we are so glad you have visited our school website for whatever reason you find yourself here! Foster is a school community that honors tradition and celebrates new contributions to our environment. We are proud of who we are and where we come from, we are truly a global school as our students come from all over the world. Walking through our hallways you hear the languages of the world and are able to witness the sharing of cultures in every corner of the building.

Since becoming the principal of this amazing school in July of 2017, it has become the absolute joy of my career to be a Bulldog. I feel like pinching myself as I walk through the doors each and every day because I get to celebrate the amazing achievements of our students and staff on a daily basis. We are a proud certified Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) site with a focus on taking the research-based best strategies as part of the college readiness system schoolwide in order to better serve every student to our fullest capacity. We are also a school that is focused on providing STEM opportunities through Project Based Learning (PBL) as we focus on providing opportunities for our students to engage in real-life problem solving for real-world issues.

Starting in the Spring of 2019 we will undergo a $40+ million dollar expansion and renovation of the building to create the new Foster High School. The project will dramatically improve safety and security, upgrade current classrooms, double the size of the commons, add an additional 16 classrooms with a STEM focus which will allow us to eliminate the need for portable classrooms and, finally, the addition of an auxiliary gymnasium. These changes are in addition to the already and in progress upgrades to all of our athletic facilities.
